What You’ll Be Doing
As a data analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing, interpreting, and integrating data across various platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security. You will be responsible for implementing data quality standards, conducting data integrity audits, and educating team members on best practices. This role involves creating and optimizing SQL queries, creating visualizations with tools such as Power BI and Python, and automating data processes with tools like Power Automate. The data analyst will collaborate with internal teams to understand their data needs and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across the firm.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a data analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing, interpreting, and integrating data across various platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security. You will be responsible for implementing data quality standards, conducting data integrity audits, and educating team members on best practices. This role involves creating and optimizing SQL queries, creating visualizations with tools such as Power BI and Python, and automating data processes with tools like Power Automate. The data analyst will collaborate with internal teams to understand their data needs and generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across the firm.
As a data analyst, you will assist with the following duties:
- Manage and maintain databases across platforms such as CCH, HubSpot, and other internal systems
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security through best practices and rigorous daily efforts
- Work with APIs to reduce manual processes and integrate data across systems for seamless workflows
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Use tools like Power BI and Python to create and support visualizations and dashboards that provide actionable insights
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for service lines and internal teams to support firmwide decision-making
- Use advanced analytics techniques to forecast trends, predict outcomes, or identify risks and opportunities
- Implement and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure clean and reliable data
- Conduct periodic audits of data systems to identify and rectify inconsistencies or errors
- Educate team members on data management best practices and standards
- Document processes, data flows, and methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility
- Automate repetitive data tasks and workflows using tools like Python, Power Automate, or other specialized software to help streamline firm operations
- Support AI projects and other technology innovation initiatives as needed
- Partner with service lines and internal support teams to understand their data and reporting needs, gather requirements, and ensure the delivery of actionable insights
- Partner with service lines and internal support teams to understand opportunities for automation of tasks
- Respond to requests for data analysis or insights that arise from leadership or client needs
- Provide training and support to team members in using data visualization tools and understanding reports
- At least 2 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role, preferably within a professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in database management and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI
- Experience with automation tools like Power Automate
- Advanced knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation
- Proficiency with APIs and system integrations
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and security
- Experience managing and cleaning data in platforms like CCH and HubSpot preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful visualizations and reports
- Ability to create detailed and clear documentation describing reports and workflow creation
